Just to let you know I'm planning a community walk tomorrow with the class. 

It's Sports Day for us tomorrow afternoon from 1-2:15

 June 17th - 21st

Our last Friday of this school year. We set up our diorama's and had a museum walk through our classroom and Mrs. Larmer's so that we could admire our classmates hard work. 

Next week is a busy week...we'll be sending home student work all week - please let me know if you're child will be leaving early so that I can ensure they receive all of their stuff.

On Monday we will be having our final meet up with our grade 4 buddies. Tuesday afternoon is SPORTS DAY! from 1-2:15. Wednesday will be a movie afternoon so please pack your child some popcorn or movie snacks :) and Thursday is our final assembly and last half day - dismissal will be at 12:00.

 Week of June 10 - 14th

Another week wrapped up! 

We have completed our animal research and will be working on our diorama's this coming week. Please send in a shoebox if you haven't already. 

We hope all the Dad's have a fabulous Father's Day on Sunday. 

On Thursday June 20, the Grade Three students at our school will be hosting a Global Citizenship fundraiser in support of the Calgary Bridge Foundation for Youth, which supports newly arrived immigrants and refugees.

They will be selling various student handmade items for $2. There will also be lemonade and fudge bites available for purchase.

If you would like your child to participate, please send money with them and we will help them select their items to purchase.

Jersey Day

In support of the Edmonton Oilers in the playoffs, we are encouraging students and staff to wear their jerseys on playoff days (June 13, 18, 21, 24).

If you don't have an Oilers Jersey, any jersey will do.

Let's cheer on our Canadian Team!!

 

Sports Day

We still have a few spots left for Sports Day on June 25.

Walk or Ride Day to MTS

It has been great to see all of the students walking or riding to school on Thursdays.  

Every Thursday is a Walk or Ride day, and we are encouraging all students to get to school in an active way. 

 

Fun Lunch

The last day for Fun Lunch will be Wednesday June 26 .

Fun Lunch is only for grades 1-4 and our EES students. Orders are accepted 1 week prior to the day.

• Log into you existing account or create a new one.
• Add your child’s information in the “add child” box – name, province, city, school, grade and class.
• All Fun Lunches will then populate – select the order now button!

Please make sure to send a morning snack with your child on Fun Lunch Days.

Next week is our last full week of school. We will be going on a community walk to explore different areas of our community.

Week of June 3 - 7th 

Whew! our ducks are huge now and we said good-bye to them today...We have learned so much and have had so much fun with them...their chirping will be missed in the class. 

We are winding down for the year! The last day for kids is June 27th. We have Sports day on June 25th which will be fun! 

Just a reminder that Gym class has been outside to please bring a hat and wear sunscreen. 

We are just reviewing all that we have learned this year and are having some fun showing what we know. 

We will continue to go on community walks next week and explore the areas around us. 

**We will begin some animal research next week and the kids will be building diorama's of their animals habitat. Please send in a shoebox that can be used for their diorama.
