A big thank you for all the kids and parents who made it to our fabulous concert last night!! I'm so proud of all the kids for singing their hearts out! 

We have a fun week ahead of us...parents please fill out the form for our Stone Soup we're making on Tuesday. We will also be making butter and bannock and celebrating the Winter Solstice. 

We will have carolling at school this week on Monday and Wednesday and a special story time by Dr. Slater on Thursday. 

Just a reminder that Friday December 20th is our last day until we're back on January 6th. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday season. It's been a blast so far and we have so much more planned for the new year.

Only 2 weeks to go! Just a reminder that our Winter concert is on Thursday...please arrive at 5:15 and bring your child to the classroom. Then go and find a seat and enjoy the show! Show starts at 5:30. 

I hope you are all working on your family "disguise the gingerbread" Please have them back at the classroom by December 11th :) 

We are also asking for your family traditions for the kids to present to the class anytime over the next 2 weeks. Please share a photo or object that represents a family tradition. 

There will be a letter home this week about making "stone soup" next Tuesday. We will be building community and making stone soup, butter and bannock together. 

We will continue to incorporate fun holiday activities into our learning over the next two weeks and will be reading and watching The polar express in the last week of school.
