October 31st

Welcome back and Happy Halloween!! It was so awesome to see all the great costumes today! I wish you all a fun and safe night of trick-or-treating! 

We had a great 3 days back and got right to work learning about Fall, CVC words, ten frames and tally marks. We even got to have buddies today.  

Some things coming up next week: 

1. PICTURE DAY will be on Tuesday, November 4th. 

2. On Thursday morning the kids will be attending a short Remembrance day assembly in the gym. 

Just a reminder that it will be FALL Break from Monday, November 10th to Wednesday November 12th. We'll welcome back the kids on Thursday, November 13th.

 Week of October 1st - 3rd

A short but busy week. 

We had buddies for the first time! We are buddies with Mrs. Phelan's grade 4 class. We don't assign buddies because that causes issues if someone is away. We encourage the kids to have a different buddy each week so they all get to know each other better. This week we went out and played playground games together like 4-square and kick ball. 

I hope to see you all soon! 

I told the kids to read 10 minutes a day, practice their numbers to 20 and play outside every day:)
