June 19th 

We are entering our last week of school for our Grade 1 year! We have lots of fun activities planned including Sports Day! 

"Sports Day will take place next Thursday, June 25th! Students will participate at the following times:

• Morning Kindergarten, Grade 3, and Grade 4: 9:00–10:30 a.m.
• Afternoon Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 2: 1:00–2:15 p.m.

Students are encouraged to show their Canadian spirit by wearing Team Canada colours! We look forward to a fun day filled with activity, teamwork, and school spirit."

We will be busy this week with our animal research and Diorama making! 

We will be going on a community walk with our buddies on Wednesday as our year end farewell. 

Report cards will be available online starting June 25th.

 Week of June 1-5

We have made it to June! 

We have been busy at work measuring objects and comparing which group of objects was longer. 

I am asking for shoeboxes once again as we will soon begin our animal research project and will be making animal dioramas. I'll let you know if we need any more supplies. 

We have also been doing some story writing and will have those completed soon. 

We have Sports Day coming up on June 25th and the last day is Friday, June 26th.
