Good morning - sorry I didn't post yesterday...It was a busy day with our dance performance! 

The kids worked so hard on their dance and did a great job! Thanks to all the parents who were able to make it to the show. 

It was a busy week with Terry Fox run preparations, dance rehearsals and learning all rolled into one. 

In math, we are focusing on counting and making numbers to 10. We are exploring patterns as well as different ways to represent numbers.

In Science, we started to learn about Fall and on Monday will be speaking about the Fall Equinox. 

In writing, we are still working on letter review and are starting to read CV/VC(consonant, vowel) (no, it, is, so) words as well as CVC words (cat, pin). 

This next week is also a busy one. On Monday we have our Orange Shirt day assembly. On Wednesday we will have our Terry Fox run starting at 9AM. We have "meet the teacher" conferences on Thursday evening (4-8) and Friday morning (8-12). **Just a reminder that there is NO SCHOOL for students on Friday AND Monday.
